Approach to decision-making
My approach to decision-making is centred on enabling flow, learning and continuous improvement. When teams encounter delivery friction or uncertainty, I ask questions to understand what is blocking progress and use evidence to guide improvement. I prioritise decisions that help the team focus on outcomes rather than process overhead.
If delivery issues extend beyond the team's control, I escalate quickly and clearly, ensuring impacts are visible and ownership is clear. I avoid shielding systemic problems and instead surface them constructively for resolution.
For agile practice decisions, I apply frameworks pragmatically — adapting them to context while preserving core principles of transparency, inspection and adaptation. When engaging with stakeholders, I communicate progress, risks and learning openly, helping to build trust and reduce unnecessary delivery noise.
